日頃より当院にご通院いただき、ありがとうございます。

皆様にクレジットカードご利用時に関する重要なお知らせがございます。

お手持ちの日本すべてのクレジットカードでのご決済時には、暗証番号での認証のみに変わります。

これまで、クレジットカードによるお支払い時には皆様の選択で「自筆サイン」または「暗証番号」のどちらかで本人確認の認証が出来ました。しかし、本人確認方法として一般的だった「手書きサイン」は2025年3月末で廃止されます。それ以降は暗証番号（PIN）の入力が原則となります。

こちらの方針は、日本クレジット協会（JCCA）が公表した「クレジットカード・セキュリティガイドライン」に基づくものです。クレジットカード業界全体でのセキュリティ強化を目的として、ご利用者のセキュリティの安全を考えての方針となります。

　具体的には、カード決済時に当院にてお客様が「手書きサイン」をお申し出の場合、これまではスタッフによる端末操作で暗証番号の入力ではなく、サインで本人確認する「PINバイパス」を行い「手書きサイン」を実行しておりました。今後、2025年3月末をもって原則廃止となります。以降は暗証番号を入力せず、サインで本人確認する方法はご利用いただけません。

クレジットカードに暗証番号を設定していない、または暗証番号を忘れてしまった場合、3月末までに設定を済ませる必要があります。そのため各カード会社は、設定を済ませていない方には暗証番号の設定を呼びかけています。もちろん、ご自分でお手持ちのクレジットカード会社へもお問い合わせいただけます。カード会社より送られてくる明細書に記載のお問い合わせ先、もしくはカード裏面の電話番号よりお問い合わせください。

※当院ではお客様各自の暗証番号はわかりかねます。あくまで注意喚起とお問い合わせのご案内となりますことをご理解のほどよろしくお願いいたします。また、海外で発行されたクレジットカードでのご決済はサインでのご利用が出来ます。

当院では引き続き、VISA・Masterカードでのお支払いが可能です。スタッフまでお気軽にお申し出くださいませ。

We have an important announcement regarding credit card usage at our clinic.

For all credit card payments in Japan, authentication will be changed to PIN code entry only.

Previously, you could choose between handwritten signature or PIN code for authentication when paying with a credit card. However, “Handwritten Signature,” which was a common method of identification, will be abolished by the end of March 2025. PIN code entry will become the standard authentication method thereafter.

This policy is based on the “Credit Card Security Guidelines” published by the Japan Credit Bureau (JCCA). It aims to enhance security across the credit card industry and is a measure taken for the safety of users.

Specifically, if you request a “handwritten signature” at our clinic when making a card payment, we have been using “PIN bypass” to authenticate with a signature instead of PIN code entry through staff operation. This will be abolished in principle by the end of March 2025. After that, you will not be able to use the method of authenticating with a signature without entering a PIN code.

If you have not set a PIN code for your credit card or have forgotten it, you need to set it by the end of March. Therefore, each card company is calling on those who have not set a PIN code to do so. Of course, you can also contact your credit card company directly. Please contact the number listed on the statement you receive from the card company or the number on the back of your card.

Please note that we at the clinic do not know your private PIN code. This is merely an alert and a guide for inquiries. Also, payments with credit cards issued overseas can still be made with a signature.

We continue to accept VISA and Mastercard payments at our clinic. Please feel free to ask our staff.
